This is a picture of my friend (actually, just my friend’s feet! ) after her very first pedicure:

For the record, this picture was taken a few years ago…

They have modernized the disposable pair of “sandals” that they give you to wear when you leave the salon these days.

(…at least at the nail salons that I go to.)
